Through the years I have spent producing, I have found that the hardest thing when starting out is getting exposure. Even now I will struggle to get plays/views on my tracks, but there are certain things you can do to boost those numbers quickly. Before I start, I'd like to say this list isn't in any particular order! 1. YouTubeI bought my MacBook Pro back in October 2015 and it's been my workhorse ever since. It's been basically everywhere with me and has the battery cycle count to prove it! It's versatile, powerful and just light enough to not break your spine carrying it around.
My model is the late 2015 15" version rocking: - Quad core 2.2GHz i7 with a turbo boost of 3.4GHz - 16GB 1600MHz LPDDR3 RAM - 256GB Flash storage (m.2 SSD for those of you who don't know) - 15" Retina Display - And the best bit: 2 USB 3.0, 2 Thunderbolt 2, Headphone/Microphone combo Jack, HDMI 2.0, SD Card Reader and the frustrating magnetic charging port. Having actual ports was one of my main considerations back when I was looking at laptops, along with the battery life. I knew I needed a well rounded system and for the money I paid, this was a great deal! But that was 3 years ago...so how does it perform now? Here's a 3 years later review of the last MacBook (so far) that actually has ports! |
